    Canada, Your Time Has Come! The Holy Supper Celebrations Begin.

    On July 9, the Welcoming Ceremony for delegates participating in the Holy Supper in Canada took place in Toronto. The ceremony event was held at the Chateau Le Jardin, reknown for its medieval architecture, was filled with joy and spiritual celebration.

    At 8:00 a.m., the attendees arrived from various provinces throughout the country. Flags of the attending delegations were displayed at the entrance, ready to be carried down the center aisle as their names were called. The choirs created an atmosphere of spirituality as the venue quickly filled up.

    The Welcoming Ceremony began at 10:00 a.m., with a message of fraternal welcome to all the attendees. This message resonated in the hearts of all those gathered to commemorate the Lord’s Supper.

    The ceremony featured delegations from different provinces across Canada, marking the first national-level Welcoming Ceremony. Delegations from the United States and Mexico also participated in the ceremony, represented by invited ministers.

    After the flag procession, the presiding minister invited the Canadian Choir to sing the hymn “All Ye Welcome.” This was followed by a fraternal embrace between ministers, choirs, and the congregation, demonstrating the unity of The Light of the World.

    Families from all over Canada gathered to share and celebrate their faith. Smiles and hugs filled the room as attendees prepared for this sacred memorial. A sense of hope and joy was felt throughout, as greetings and expressions of affection were exchanged among brothers and sisters from various cities and provinces. This marked the start of the Holy Convocation in Canada.

    THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST CELEBRATES THE HOLY SUPPER OF THE LORD IN PORTLAND

    On July 7, 2024, congregations of The Light of the World came together in Portland to celebrate the Holy Supper of the Lord Jesus Christ. After two days of prayer meetings, baptisms, and spiritual reflection, the main event of this gathering took place with the celebration of the Holy Supper, symbolizing communion, unity, and peace.

    The special service was held at the Oregon Convention Center, with separate auditoriums for English and Spanish speakers. At the invitation of the Apostle Naasón Joaquín García, parishioners from across the Pacific Northwest, including a delegation from Alaska, attended to participate in the sacred memorial, joining together in faith and unity.

    After the bread and wine were consecrated by the apostolic emissary, the ministers distributed the Holy Supper to the attendees, echoing the words of Jesus Christ: “As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

    After the service and three days of fellowship and unity, a farewell ceremony was held. Attendees exchanged warm embraces, wishing each other spiritual blessings and the fulfillment of their personal and spiritual goals.

    Both Spanish and English language services featured messages on the Holy Supper, God’s love, unity, family values, and Christian principles that help maintain a life of peace and communion with God.

    Guest ministers led the meetings, where hymns and prayers invited attendees to reflect on the spiritual significance of participating in the Holy Supper.

    Within the activities of the Holy Supper 2024 held in Portland, Oregon, congregations of The Light of the World held a baptism ceremony.

    The meeting was held at the Oregon Convention Center in the presence of thousands of parishioners and members of the choir who, through their songs, motivated those present to give thanks to God for this happy spiritual gathering adorned with the growth in the number of believers.

    Baptism is the sacred act by which the free and voluntary decision to practice the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and form part of the family of faith is confirmed.

    This ceremony of baptisms is the result of the divine call to the souls to whom the message of the word of God has been shared.

    The festivities began with a welcoming service on July 5 at 8:00 am. Attendees at the Oregon Convention Center participated in ceremonies for both Spanish and English speakers.

    Among the attendees were a delegation of brethren from Alaska and a large choir from the congregations in Nevada and Arizona.

    A memorable moment of unity occurred when representatives of the congregations passed through the central aisle waving their flags while attendees raised their hands in a warm welcome.

    The officiating minister then invited everyone to join in a fraternal embrace, symbolizing brotherhood and peace. Following praises and prayers, Apostle Naasón Joaquín García sent a message to the attendees, expressing his wish for spiritual blessings and unity.

    The Light of the World communities in the United States have held this sacred event in various cities this year, including Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Washington, and Phoenix.

    Phoenix, AZ. – On May 25, 26 and 27, 2024, congregations belonging to The Light of the World Christian faith of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah gathered to celebrate the Holy Convocation at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel.

    The Holy Supper is one of the most important events for members of The Light of the World faith community. Held annually in the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, this event brings together people from around the world in an act of spiritual fellowship and renewal of faith. The state of Arizona has been a part of this ceremony for 50 years since the Gospel of Jesus Christ first came to this state; however, this May 2024, the Holy Supper was celebrated in Phoenix, Arizona.

    The Holy Supper is a solemn celebration where the faithful commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the redemptive sacrifice that gave humanity the opportunity for salvation. This celebration represents the unity and communion of believers with God, fulfilling Christ’s commandment: “As often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.”

    This event attracts thousands of people from different parts of the country, which generates significant economic activity in the city. Hotels, restaurants, and local businesses experienced an increase in their sales due to the influx of visitors.

    The interaction creates an atmosphere of hospitality and collaboration between residents and visitors alike. The city becomes a crossroads of diverse cultures.

    Baptismal Ceremony held amidst Holy Convocation in Phoenix, Arizona

    Christians of the southwestern states of the United States, with great joy, gathered on May 25, 26 and 27, 2024 to celebrate the Holy Convocation in the city of Phoenix, Arizona. This celebration brought together thousands of faithful who with great respect and reverence listened to the different topics presided in English and in Spanish.

    On May 26, prior to the Celebration of the Holy Supper, baptisms were held at the temple of the Light of the World congregation of Phoenix, Arizona. During the baptismal ceremony, the minister presiding the service mentioned the freewill that each person has to decide to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ.

    While the church and the choir sang a hymn, dozens of men and women passed through the central aisle of the temple to confirm their decision to be part of the church of Christ and adopt a life with Christian principles.

    The candidates for baptism, as a symbol of acceptance, raised their right hand and answered “amen” to the questions asked during the profession of faith. One by one, the brothers were immersed in water to fulfill a teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ by Apostolic authority.

    After the baptisms, the church welcomed the new members with a hymn and a fraternal greeting. The brothers who were baptized were invited to assemble in front of the altar to join in prayer asking God to bless them on this new path they have begun.

    Each prayer, presided by visiting ministers, was accompanied by hymns and prayers, whose objective is for attendees to reflect on the spiritual importance of participating in the Supper of the Lord Jesus Christ.
