The Holy Supper brings Blessings in Tegucigalpa, Honduras
From August 11 to 14, 2024, brothers and sisters gathered in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, to celebrate the Holy Supper as instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ. This spiritual ceremony of communion and renewal of faith was also celebrated in 22 venues around the world.
From the early hours of the day, an atmosphere of peace and joy was palpable, which only grew as the worship service began. The regional choirs participated with fervor, bringing joy to the crowd gathered at the venue.
The ceremony began with a worship service to the Lord, followed by the blessing of the bread and wine by Apostolic authority. The ministers then distributed the bread and wine, symbolizing the body and blood of Christ, to the brethren gathered for the solemn commemoration of the redeeming sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, thus fulfilling Christ’s command: “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes” (1 Corinthians 11:26).
