Tegucigalpa Celebrates the Welcoming Ceremony
The 2024 Holy Supper began on Monday, August 12, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This city welcomed thousands of faithful invited to participate in the Holy Supper, the most solemn festival instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ, where each participant renews their spiritual covenant with God.
The fraternal event progressed amid overwhelming expressions of joy and praise from the choirs and all members that filled the venue. The Apostolic emissary welcomed the delegates, who triumphantly walked through the central aisle with their flags held high, adding to the uplifting spirit of the occasion.
The welcoming highlighted values such as peace, fraternity, and unity, manifested in the large gathering that testifies to the faith’s continued growth in Honduras through the evangelization work across the Honduran nation.
