Holy Supper celebrated in San Miguel, El Salvador
The Beautiful Province neighborhood in San Miguel, El Salvador, a land blessed by God, welcomed thousands of faithful from congregations of The Light of the World as they gathered to commemorate the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. This ceremony is a call for communion and reconciliation between brethren and God through the redeeming sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Supper was instituted more than 2,000 years ago by the Lord Jesus Christ: “For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” 1 Corinthians 11:26. For brethren, the Holy Supper is the most important and solemn celebration, as it reconciles mankind with God.
The Holy Supper ceremony began with a service of worship to God, followed by blessing of the bread and wine by the authority of the Apostle of Jesus Christ, Naason Joaquin Garcia. Then those gathered partook of the Holy Supper.
Thus, in the eastern part of this beautiful and blessed country, the brethren joyfully renewed their unity with God and their commitment of doing good works in society.
