PHOENIX, Ariz. February 11, 2020. (TLOTW).— On February 14, 1912, Arizona was the last of the 48 continental states admitted to the American Union. Copper and mining was its premiere industry. However, when refrigeration and air conditioning were developed, Arizona became one of the states with the fastest growing economy and population; its rural origins were left behind.
The Grand Canyon, one of the most beautiful places in the world, is 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide and one mile deep. The official state flower is the Saguaro Cactus Blossom. Saguaros can be more than 50 feet tall and live for over 200 years.
This southwestern state has different native tribes who have provided great contributions to the freedom of mankind. During World War II, members of Navajo Nation enrolled by the U.S. Marines and used their language to broadcast secret messages, known as Navajo Code Talkers, their participation made it possible to save many lives as this is the only coded language never to deciphered by enemy intelligence.
Climate is so diverse in Arizona, that the same day can yield both the highest and lowest temperatures in the region.
Arizona is the leading copper producer in the United States and this is proudly displayed in its flag, the Copper-Colored Star, along with those magnificent sunsets. Also, the Navajo Nation and Arizona are the only regions in the Union not to observe Daylight Saving Time.
Arizona has a motto: Ditat Deus (“God enriches”) and it is within the state of the Grand Canyon: Phoenix – the Valley of Sun – where God inspired the Apostle of the Lord, Naason Joaquin Garcia, to host the Holy Supper 2020. God will enrich those souls looking to participate in the Holy Supper when his Authority on Earth, the Apostle, pronounces those words to bless the bread “Take, eat: this is my body.” (Mark 14:22) and bless the wine “This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” (Mark 14:24) This will be a perfect communion between God, The Lord, the Apostle, and the Church.
