San Diego; A modern city with a multicultural history

SAN DIEGO, Calif. February 11, 2020. (TLOTW).— The Apostle of Jesus Christ, our Brother Naason Joaquin Garcia, has determined to send the blessing of the Holy Supper to six cities in the United States. San Diego, in Southern California is one of these blessed locations.

This is a city that has had many cultural identities through the ages. In the 1500s it was the first colonial establishment by Europeans in California. Later it was part of Mexico, along with the rest of California from 1821 to 1848, until the state was ceded to the United States after the Mexican-American War. Remnants of the various identities along the years can still be seen in the architecture and urban design of its various neighborhoods.

The Pacific Coastline of San Diego features colorful beaches and coves where visitors can enjoy many days of leisure, and the weather in San Diego is ideal practically all year round, it is never a bad day for enjoyment an entertainment, whether in the shopping districts, arts districts, or it international restaurants. Its multicultural culinary arts provides the opportunity to savor some of the best dishes from just about anywhere in the world.

This February San Diego will host the Holy Supper 2020. It is not the first time this city has had this honor, but each time the blessing has been unique and heavenly.
